TO PERFECT IN ART IS IMPOSSIBLE, BUT YOU STILL TRY -Prisilla Nieves
The element Bromine 35 ( Br 35 with 35 protons) was discovered by Antoine Balard and Carl Jacob Walig in 1825 and 1836 is part of The Periodic Table. It's usually found in the Earth's crust and in seawater as many different chemicals. Since bromine can usually be found in seawater, I decided to draw a shell.
The plate was drawn on, cut (negative and positive spaces), painted on, then printed on paper. To make plates is very fun and creative. Also, you learn more of both art and science by researching and experimenting. The thing I enjoyed the most was to cut the negative and positive spaces because it was a new type of way to cut and it was when you rolled the paint on the plate and it would never touch the negative space. Lastly, if I was to do something a bit different, I would have drew a star next to the shell and make the drawing look a little bit more interesting.
